“The goal is to keep making Mexico the best country in the world…Mexico has a plan, and is united in moving ahead.”
On Jan. 13, just over 100 days into her term, President Claudia Sheinbaum presented her economic development plan for 2025-2030 at the Museo Nacional de Antropología in Mexico City.
Plan México is ambitious in scope and goals—among its aims is to create 1.5 million additional manufacturing jobs, make Mexico the world’s 10th largest economy and build 100 industrial parks. The plan touts a national and international investment portfolio of US $277 billion.
